Hi, I’m Johanna, I live in New Hampshire with my husband and two children.

Making art is in my blood. I come from a long line of strong, female artists and was raised with a deep connection with these roots. Creativity, design, and imagination were all integral parts of my upbringing. With no formal art training, I consider that to be what has made me the artist I am today.

I like being able to share my passion and keeping things down to earth. All too often our culture makes art a lofty and pretentious thing, and to put it simply: I think that’s wrong.

Art is for everyone!

Aside from the inspiration of my mother and grandmother, artists like Beatrix Potter, Maud Lewis, Graciela Iturbide, and Frida Kahlo all contribute to my eclectic style. Though nature will always be what inspires me most to create.

accessible art
